Most American car companies were selling muscle cars in 1969, Dodge offered buyers the “Scat Pack”. A family of performance cars that included the Charger R/T, Coronet R/T, Dart GT Sport and the Super Bee. Dodge refreshed the Super Bee for 1969, a hardtop joined the existing pillared coupe. Build as a budget muscle car and priced at only $3,027, the Bee offered a great bang for the buck.
