- 1999 Dodge Dakota R/T By Lynn Peterson
Just recently bought this stock 1999 Dodge Dakota R/T, I was racing a 2001 Dodge Ram 1/2 ton at the local Dragstrip & wanted something lighter & easier to work on, stock the R/T is 2.5 seconds faster in the 1/4 mile. Featured in the Emailed Mopars section June 2006.

Since my last post I've added Drag Radials, better performance program, 1.7 roller rockers, M1 intake & larger throttle body, Next I'll add a complete dual exhaust & a Split Second fuel & timing controller so I can run larger injectors. Featured in the Emailed Mopars Section October 2006.

Last Year I bought this truck with 45,000 miles and it was totally stock, I have changed the cam & intake and added MSD but the exhaust is still stock. Featured in the Emailed Mopars section September 2007.
