White Dodge Challenger, Kowalski and Super Soul Ride Again
Chryslers entry this year's for the One Lap of America "cross-country" race. Chrysler's Vice President Ralph Gilles and Erich Heuschele, Vehicle Dynamics Supervisor for SRT, are entering a blank white Challenger inspired by the 1970 Dodge Challenger that stars in the cult film Vanishing Point from 1971.

Chrysler Canada Achieves 21 Consecutive Months of Sales Growth
Chrysler Canada achieved the best April sales in more than five years, and marked 21 consecutive months of year-over-year sales increases. Total sales for the month reached 24,266 units, up eight percent over April 2007. Fueled by retail growth, Chrysler Canada outperformed the Canadian marketplace and reinforced its position as Canada’s second-highest-volume automaker.

The 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T features a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine with a five-speed automatic transmission that produces an estimated 370 horsepower and 398 lb.-ft. of torque. For 2009, The Dodge Challenger R/T also offers a precision-shift six-speed manual transmission the first for a new-generation HEMI-powered car that produces 375 horsepower and 404 lb.-ft. of torque when running on premium fuel.
