Its a 1974 Plymouth Barracuda. I
bought the car when I was 16 my sophomore year in high school. I am
now 24 years old and still have it though I about sold it for a
ducati street bike once. The car was originally a Gold metallic and
went through several paint stages such as lime green and purple. It
has an AARcuda hood on it with 70 style tail lights on it. The motor
is a 340 with a 727 tranny in it from a 71 Barracuda which I believe
still sits at the place I bought my Cuda at. The original car that
the motor and tranny is out of now has a slant six poor thing. It
also has a 8 3/4 limited slip rear end which I love and I ordered my
newer truck with that rear end also that's how much I loved that. I
knew about he car since I was like 13 or younger and finally got my
dad to ok me for buying it. After a few years of electrical problems
I finally parked it and left it there in the same parking spot for
like 7 years and now its about to be running again. When I'm out of
high school I Plan on fixing it up for show worthy condition. I wont
put it back to original condition I want to make it my own. though
the car is in bad need of restoration my financial funds are not
there to restore it but soon as I'm out of school and get bills paid
my future plans are to put awd on it and awd steering. I'm also
going to put a 440 in it and beef the tranny up and put a dana 60
under it. I'm going to dress the interior out with a surround system
and white interior and put the fish gill front fenders on it along
with a custom made aluminum polished front grill. A roll cage will
go in also. I cant wait to be driving it on the road with the rest
of the mopar owners out there along with my good friend and neighbor
with his 69 charger.
