1971 Dodge Demon By Terry Roth

1971 Dodge Demon By Terry Roth

Just finished my 71 Demon and as you can see it comes complete with a 1 piece - 6 pack hood from AAR fiberglass. The body and interior are showroom with new carpets, upholstery and head liner and is stock but for the B+M rachet shifter. Under the hood is a long way from stock a 1970 383 on Schumacher mounts and Tri Y headers exhausting through 2 1/2" piping through the Dynamax mufflers. The induction uses all of the Demon (suitably named) 750 full mechanical, twin squirter sitting atop a Weiand single plane manifold. The heads are MP stage 5 cast and the big valves are operated with an MP .509" lift cam. I almost forgot to mention the full valve job 727 with a 3000 RPM converter twisting the 8 3/4", 3.91 to 1 out back. Frame stiffeners are a must on this puppy and to put it into perspective, if this combo don't give you a woody when you put your foot in the carb then consider yourself one of them "girly men". Hold the phone, was that a new Mustang I heard, got to go
