1987 Dodge Shelby Charger By Steve Thomas

1987 Dodge Shelby Charger.  this car is completely stock except for the paint.  We (my family) purchased the car new in 1987. We are currently awaiting written verification of the car being one in fourteen "goofy" cars.  There were apparently 14 made that were put together with leftover parts to test new combinations for next generation turbo cars.  We arrived at this information when the wiring harness needed to be replaced.  A Shelby tech from Santa Fe came to work on it as a favor to the service manager we had gone through, and he called the plant in Santa Fe to vin check confirm the "goofiness" of the car.  Anyways the car is nick named the "Purple Skunk" for obvious reasons and soon enough i hope to be turning up the boost and making a couple of runs on the 1/4 mile.
