Mopars Of The Month - February, 2004

1965 Plymouth Barracuda By Brian Pfefferle

This is my baby. I built the  car 8 years ago. It has a 30 over 360 "366" that I built and put 40 plus hours of porting and polishing into the heads that I had opened up to 2.02 1.60 valves. I dyno'ed the motor and it made 424hp and 421 ft.lbs of torque. I run a 8 3/4 with 3.91's in the rear, I mini-tubbed the car moving the springs in 3inches with the spring re-locater kit from mopar and adding a 3" piece to the existing wheel well. It has 15x10's in the rear with 26x12.5 Mickey Thompson's with all that going through a 3500 Hughes converter it runs pretty good.

Hope you like!

Brian's 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger and his brothers 1972 Plymouth Scamp are also featured this month!
