2001 PT Cruiser Limited Edition By Colleen Barrette



I am a proud owner of 2001 Pt Cruiser Limited Edition which I have had since May of 2000. I have really never been much of a vehicle enthusiast , until my husband dragged me to the Detroit Auto Show where I followed him around the cars to the trucks. Until we got to were they were showing the PT Cruiser , I think it was love at first sight.

Well we went about looking at still more cars and trucks but I kept on going back to the PT and looking at it, I finally turned to my husband and declared that if Chrysler ever came out with that car I would buy it in a minute, he just laughted at my comment knowing me as well as he does ! Thought there was something wrong with me because I have always said to him" What the big deal it's a car or truck". At about that time my husband bought his 1999 Dodge Dakota R/T we just talking with the salesman when I mentioned that we seen the PT at the Auto Show and how much I liked it. Anyways the salesman phoned in a few weeks later and told me that they were making the PT's in manual transmission, I told him to call me when it's made in automatic ,he called two weeks later.

I got on the internet to get as much info on the PT went in and told him this is what I want, I had more info on it than then he did! It seemed pretty odd to me that all of a sudden everyone wanted one , well it came in May 24 weekend 2000 . Now that I have had it for almost four years now , I still love driving it everyday. This car has made me a BIG Mopar fan. My husband and I go to as many MEETS as we can, with his now , 2002 Dakota R/T and my PT . The best one of the year is Moparfest, in Newhamburg, Ontario.Where we have meet some of the Greatest Mopar Fans ever !
